My review of Pact Coffee Subscription Service.(Plus Special offer for all readers any bag for £1)

Good Evening Readers,
If you are a coffee lover like me then you will have several kinds of coffee (no value stuff will do!!) and also several ways of making them ie espresso, filter ect  and dread running out  (i need my morning caffeine fix) then Pact Coffee is for you,

They are a online company that offers a coffee subscription for £6.95 each packet They then send you a bag of freshly roasted coffee but not any old coffee these each have a unique flavor like the Sitio Chapada AKA Chocolate coated toffee. They even have a Milk chocolate cherry one (cant wait to try that) If you want decaff they have that too.
It is so easy to order and there is no fixed contract you can cancel at any time,You can also pause it if you need to for any reason,Delivery is free and order before 1pm for next day delivery.

It is so easy to order you just enter your name and what kind of coffee drinker you are then you get taken to coffee heaven,There you will see a variety of coffees taken from all over the world,
I signed up and chose to try Sitio Chapada first so was excited when it popped through the door the very next day,

What i really liked was the personal service you get from Pact they send you a welcome email and even call you up the day after you get your coffee to ask was everything  ok and how did i like it,Shame other companies don't interact more like Pact i felt very welcome and was delighted at the communication,

I could not wait to try it so out came my filter and the kettle on.(TIP. NEVER let the water boil when making coffee as you will burn it and it will taste very bitter) once i opened the packet the smell was amazing a deep roasted coffee with a chocolate toffee hint.My nose went wild as i waited for it to brew i could not wait to taste that first sip and boy i was not disappointed i had never tasted coffee so good! There is nothing i don't like about this one and i am looking forward to trying the rest of them.

Love Pact Coffee!

My 12 week review of Symprove (Getting IBS under control) Week 1,2&3

Good Morning Readers,

Given it’s January and we’re all trying to be a bit healthier  I thought it would be great to try get my IBS under control i have tried many things from pills to powders but found none that worked for long so i  did a  little research and came across a ad on the Internet looking for people to take a 12 week challenge so i got in touch and found i was a ideal person to try it on,

So i decided to start today Monday 12/01/15  and to blog about my progress over the next 12 weeks and see how i get on.
So let me tell you a little about Symprove before we start,

Symprove contains live bacteria that work to balance out your tummy bacteria,To start with you drink 1cup 60ml first thing in the morning before breakfast,
It comes in a great tasting flavor Mango & Passion fruit and tasted like normal fruit juice.(also available in original and is gluten and dairy free too )

Once the bottle is opened it needs to stay in the fridge to keep all the bacteria alive.
Unlike other probiotics that are freeze dried!!
As Symprove arrives alive and is water based so it don't mess with you digestion meaning they stay alive to do their job,(what more can you ask for!!)

So here we go the start to getting my IBS under control in 12 weeks with Symprove,

Week One,
There is not really much to report yet apart from extra trips to the loo,
I still have crippling tummy pain and looking like i was 5 months pregnant!!
But for some strange reason my tummy keeps rumbling.
I wonder what week two has in store...

Week Two,
Again this week there is little change i am still having tummy cramps the pain is evil still but the amount of loo moments have decreased a little,
So i shall keep going and hope things will soon start to improve (Or should that be Symprove),So see you next week.

Week Three,This week i have noticed that my tummy ain't as hard or swollen as before and the pain has eased a  bit,Don't get me wrong i still have tummy cramps and bouts of rushing to the loo,But for the first time in years i managed to travel a fare way without needing to plan were the nearest loo is!  I really do hope it continues to get better and i can have more days out and maybe even take the kids to the zoo one day soon,

Week Four  This week the tummy cramps have almost gone just a few during the week mainly in stressful situations,Also my tummy is more relaxed and the knotting sensation is minamal.

Week Five This week not really any differant to last week,so i shall continue as im almost half way there now with some positive results,

Please come back to see how i get on till then thank you for reading.

Getting bacteria where it’s needed most

For any probiotic to be effective in restoring the balance of bacteria in your gut, it has to do 3 simple things.
1: ARRIVE alive right from the start so it’s ready to get to work
2: SURVIVE the strongly acidic and hostile environment of your stomach.
3: THRIVE in the intestines and targeted areas of your gut quickly and effectively.

  • Every millilitre of Symprove contains about 200 million live, active bacteria.
Btw.. Symprove have a awesome offer. You purchase the first 8 weeks and Symprove will give you the last 4 for free! (what a fab offer I'm sure you will agree )

You can buy Symprove from their website Here

Sausage pie for less than £1.50

 Good Evening readers,
My kids love sausage pie but not the shop ones they have to be home made,All of Miss Molly's friends love coming for tea when we have it and it is so easy to make and cheap too.

All you need is a packet of sausages (cheap ones are ok) a packet of stuffing and a packet of either ready made or a dry packet mix.

All you need.
Now make up the stuffing as to the packet but add just a little more water so its wet but not runny,
While that is cooling down get on with the pastry as per the instructions (unless using ready made) then pop it in the fridge to "relax"

Leave to cool.

Now take the skins off the sausages and then mix well  with the stuffing (the kids love squishing it up with there hands)

Oh naked sausages,so Molly says.

All squished.
Now grease a pie dish and then roll out the pastry to fit leaving a over hang.

Over hang!

Now fill with your sausage mix leaving 1cm from the top.

Don't over fill!

Next paint milk around the edge then put the lid on.
Christian busy at work.
Then using a fork press all around the edge then trim any that over hang's and then prick randomly over the top.(to let the steam out) Then paint the top with a little egg/milk and pop in the oven 170c for  35/45 mins.

Ready for the oven.
Leave to cool for 5 min then serve,This pie will feed 4/6 people and cost under £1.50,
It is also nice hot or cold,Try using other flavor's of suffing and sausages too each one creating a whole new tasting pie.

Cooling down.
Just a small slice.
So there you go my sausage pie for less than £1.50.I do hope you will try making it,and if you do please come back and let me know what you thought of it.

Thank you for reading please subscribe so you can keep up with my ramblings,
Till next time.
Take care,

My review of the go ahead range,

Good Morning readers,

So as we start a new year with healthy eating and keeping fit there is no better way than to start the day than with a bar of go ahead.

go ahead range.

They come in various flavors and some with yogurt on top like these yummy strawberry yogurt bars,These have juicy plump sultanas and raspberries encased in a crunchy biscuit and smothered in a yogurt topping. (other flavors are raspberry, forest fruits and red cherry)
These are by far my favourite the smell upon opening the packet was fruity and looked exciting!
The first bite sends your taste buds wild! It is crunchy yet soft in the middle with the fruit plump and sweet.
The kids gave them a 10/10 i almost passed out with shock as the kids never give anything a 10out of 10!!
Breakfast will never be the same again.

MMmm

Hard choice...

Next we tried the go ahead crispy slices,
They have so many flavours to choose from (id love to try the chocolate ones but cant find a store that sells them!)
The forest fruits are yummy the sultana and berry filling  encased in a crispy biscuit and a sugar topping,The apple ones was just as nice but a little to sweet for me but the kids gave them a 9/10 and said they would like them in their lunch boxes.
The inside soo fruity.
The kids gave them 9/10.
Yummy!

Now the go ahead fruit bakes are AMAZING! (i cant wait to try the others in the range) they taste a bit like fig rolls with the same texture and they contain 1 portion of fruit so are ideal if the kids don't like eating fruit.
They are really yummy  and the kids gave them also 9/10

Plump apple center
Top marks from Christian.

So to sum up the go ahead range........
They are ideal when your on the go just pop them in your pocket/bag and away you go they will also  keep hunger at bay till lunch and can be enjoyed at any other part of the day,
I will 100% be getting these from now on they are fantastic and for the price you cant go wrong.

Review of The Make Your Own Hamper & A Natural lined Storage Basket From The Basket Company ©.

My review of the make your own hamper kit and the natural lined storage basket available from The Basket Company ©

Good Morning readers,
I was delighted to have a chance to review a couple of items from The Basket Company © they have a wonderful collection of baskets for every occasion.

There are picnic baskets, pet baskets, storage and laundry baskets and many many more in various sizes and designs.

I loved the  make your own hamper kit it contains all you need included in this kits is a...
  • Double steamed willow basket (L 40cm x W 30cm x H 11cm)
  • Ivory coloured wood wool for the base
  • Heat shrink bag
  • Ivory bow
  • Gift tag

So the hardest thing you have to do is choosing what to put in there as you can see i decided to make a pamper hamper at a fraction of the price.

They have a useful you tube clip Here showing you how to make your hamper.

D.I.Y

Here is how to use your kit from start to finish.

Step one Place the straw in the basket and pull it out to fit.
Step one.

Step two Fill with what ever you want placing the bigger/heavier items in the middle and then the smaller/lighter items around the edges.
Fill with what ever you want.

Step three Place the hamper inside the bag so the opening is up the top then scrunching the middle tape it in place.

Step four Get the hair drier and on a medium setting hover it lightly over the sides then the top to shrink it into place,(DON'T stay long in one place or go to close as you will melt the bag!)
Remember not to close!

Step five Make the bow by holding the two thin pieces and pulling to magically create a stunning bow,Then tie in place.

Oh pretty.

Step six Using a pair of scissors run one side of then down the straight bit of ribbon to create a tumbling curl,

Step seven Add the tag and then you are finished.

A stunning home made hamper and a unique gift for anyone.
The possibility's are endless as to what kind of hampers you can make and these D.I.Y kits from The Basket Company are just the thing.

They can be reused (unlike the shop brought thin basket's that break quickly these are made to last) and would look fantastic on any dinner table filled with fruit or simply for storage,
The basket is handmade and sturdy so will last for many years to come.

Next i reviewed the Natural Lined Storage Basket you can see the quality of this  natural Willow handmade basket its available in various sizes and is lined in ivory fabric that is washable.
It is well made and would not look out of place in any part of the house.
The liner,
Well made.

And so that is it my review with thanks to The Basket Company for providing the baskets used today please check out there page's below.
The Make Your Own Hamper is priced at £15.00 Here and the Natural lined Storage Basket is reduced to just £5 Here.
