In this wonderfully written book you embark on a buzzing adventure were Infinity Drake  and his mad scientist uncle attend a crisis meeting were a power mad baddie has let loose a doomsday bio-weapon.........The mutant Scarlatti wasp! (eek be afraid very afraid) millions of lives are in danger but uncle Al has a bonkers idea that may just work to save the world,
He soon shrinks a top military team to kill the killer wasps but there is a double agent Kaparis who has other ideas and Fin is left just 9mm tall and saving the world that size is gonna be a hard mission,Can he do it?

You will not want to put it down once you start reading its full of twists and turns and is fantastic for both boys and girls who share a love of science it is jam packed full of adventure with loads of action to boot.What more can you ask for.

Miss Molly really loved it too she said she wanted to be Kelly but it was a little scary and gross but still fun to read.

Review of House of Secrets book Two Battle Of The Beasts,

Good Afternoon Readers,

As you all know we love reading and Miss Molly loved the first book and so was super excited to get her paws on book two to see if it was as good as the first one,

If you haven't read book one you really do need to as the adventure starts there as you get to know all about the Walker kids  Brendan,Cordelia and Nell they move in to Kristoff  house that once belonged to a crazed writer and his stories come to life LITERALLY!!

They have no idea of the dark magic that is held within,There they embark on a mission to save there parents,battling against bloodthirsty warriors and deadly pirates will they ever see them again?

Book one was awesome.will book two be as good?

Book one a huge thumbs up!

So now book Two is here and Miss Molly got reading.

In this book we again meet the Walker kids and Dahlia the nasty evil wind witch .

Her magic is still so powerful even through her stumps!  (her fake hands got left behind) 

She wants The Book of Doom And Desire no matter what it costs and no matter who gets hurt, 

Can the Walker kids save the world again?

The battle commences cyborgs,beasts, searing heat and  of the Colosseum clashing swords .The stakes have never been higher.

Loving Book Two

Miss Molly was hooked right from page one and didn't want to put it down at bed time, She also said that this one was  so awesome and even better than the first one 

This book is fantastic full of adventure and magic and Miss Molly cant wait for the final book due next year she said she don't know if she can wait that long.

The Dreamsnatcher by Abi Elphinstone book review. Plus Competition to win a copy.

Good Afternoon readers,
As you know we are a family of bookworms and so was over  the moon to have a pre released copy of Abi Elphinstone's debut novel The Dreamsnatcher. 

In this wonderfully written book you embark on a adventure with Moll a Romany gypsy aged 12 after she awakes to find everything gone campsite and all,
Moll finds herself in the middle of the Deepwood forest were the Dreamsnatcher is waiting.He has took her dreams and now wants to take her life.(Eek sounds scary)

So Moll and her friends that include a wildcat named Gryff and a earthworm named Porridge embark on a magical adventure into the deep dark wood

Miss Molly said This was a fantastic read.I loved reading all about Moll and the adventure they went on.It was well scary right from the first page  I really hope there will be another book soon as i really really loved it.so i gave it a huge 10 out of 10 and a massive thumbs up.

DARKMOUTH....... It’s about to get legendary Reviewed by Miss Molly aged 8

Good Afternoon Readers,




I was delighted to be sent a copy of Shane Hegarty's Darkmouth for the kids to read.

 The book that can’t wait to get its teeth into you

 Miss Molly could not wait to start reading all about a boy called Finn the last remaining legend hunter(But a rubbish one at that!)  in his badly fitting suit of armour 

 and a heavy hat carrying a thing called a Desiccator,(looks like a rifle).Finn's job is to keep Darkmouth free of various baddies like the scary Manticore with his lion body scorpion tail  and dragon wings (see i said they were scary),Flinn meets a girl named Emmie and together they embark on a adventure of a lifetime. Please check out the trailer for Darkmouth Here.

Miss Molly loved reading this wonderful book it was well written and fun to read,Miss Molly loved all the action and couldn't put the book down and she said she was only a little bit scared but she really could imagine being in Darkmouth and helping Flinn in his battle.she gave the book a huge 10 out of 10 and is super excited that Darkmouth is coming back in August 2015.



If you have not heard about Shane Hegarty he was the arts editor of The Irish Times but has turned to writing full time.He resides on the easy coast of Ireland  in a village not unlike Darkmouth.Only with no monsters lol.Why not follow him over on twitter Here.
