Monsters Love Underpants is so funny from the very first page the kids were giggling and laughing at the hilarious pictures inside. The rhyming continues through from page one right through to the last page,With the paperback book you get a extra special treat a audio reading by Mel from Bake off there is a QR code that you use on any smart device to upload the story on the inside front cover. (ideal for the younger kids to read along to)

Monsters around the world and even outer space discover the joy of jewelled pants, frozen pants, armoured pants, multi coloured pants and even have pants parties (how cool is that!). There's characters from previous books to spot throughout the 32pages and Molly and her friends spent ages after choosing there favourite pair of pants in the book.(i like the frilly dotty ones)

Molly's Sisters birthday cake.

Good evening readers,
Miss Molly has a big sister called Sian (her daddy & his wife don't ask that's another story lol) and it is her birthday the day after my sisters and as i had baked her cake with Sophie yesterday Molly wanted to make her sister one too so yet again for the second time this week we set to work,Sian is a goth and loves dark colours and is also a lover of them cheeky yellow minions so based on that we decided blue, green and purple with black icing was the way forward here is how we did it

I then used disposable piping bags and then did spirals again.

I then popped it in the oven on 190 for 35 Min's until cooked through.
Ready for the oven,
Cooling down

Covered in jam.
I then sliced it open and sandwiched it back together with black butter icing and raspberry jam and then coated the whole thing with melted seedless jam then covered it in white royal icing.
Icing rolled.

Got it covered,

Sadly the topper broke :(

And with the remainder of the cake mix we made some cup cakes as you can see they were very colourful,
Sian loved her cake and said it was the best one she ever had.
this cake only took 4 hours to make and even tho the topper broke i still think it looked good,The topper was from Country kitchen cakes on facebook for £4 so the total for this cake was just under £10 to make.

Thank you for taking the time to read this far until next time ttfn stay lucky.
                                                 Love Bella and Molly.
                                                                xx

My sisters 40th birthday cake made by Sophie & me.

Sophie gets cracking!
 Good afternoon readers,
It was my sister's 40th birthday this month and my niece Sophie wanted to bake her a special birthday cake so we set to work....

Whisking away.
Sophie got on with beating the eggs light and fluffy while i was weighing out the rest of the ingredients and lining a 9inch cake tin making sure the paper came over the top of the tin to stop the cake from burning,

Lined &ready to go.

Slowly does it.
Now Sophie poured the fluffy egg mix slowly into the flour/sugar mix.Once well mixed we divided the cake mix into two bowls then added yellow and orange (Bakers tool kit)

Oh pretty!

I like using disposable piping bags as its less mess. Then we filled then and tided them using a freezer bag tie.

Ready for the oven.
We then piped spirals alternating colours then popped it in the oven on 190 for 35 Min's until cooked through,

Sophie making sure it tastes yummy!

Once out the oven we left it to cool a little before turning it out on a cooling rack.
The inside.
Then we cut it open and used marmalade and chocolate butter icing to sandwich it back together then covered the whole cake in the icing.

All hidden.
Once covered i put a ready made topper on top and smoothed it down, then Sophie set to work icing the top edge and then the bottom once it was sat on the cake board.
We then put wafer Daisy's all the way around and this is the result.Looks awesome as well i do hope you agree.
The end result.
It took us 5 hours from start to finish and best of all my sister LOVED it.

Looking good...

And so we have it my sisters surprise birthday cake she had no idea what the inside was like until she cut it and she was really happy with the top as she is dolphin mad! The topper cost just £4.00 from Country kitchen cakes on facebook and is edible too. The total cost for this cake was just under £10 to make topper included.

Thank you for taking the time to read to the end,Until next time ttfn stay lucky,

Love

Bella and Sophie,

xx

Coconut treacle tart.

Good afternoon Readers,
I do hope you are well and are enjoying this amazing weather for April.
I had some left over shortcrust pastry left from when i made a pie for tea and as i don't like to waste things i decided to make some Coconut treacle tarts, these are so easy to make and can be made in just 15 min's and the best thing is that even the youngest kids can help make.Keep reading to find out how.....

First we cut out the pastry and put them in the tart cases,Then we put foil in and put in baking beans to blind bake for 10min's then leave to cool before removing (they get VERY hot)

Then i whizzed up 2 slices of bread (crusts included) and popped it in a bowl then added 2tbs of coconut and 8tbs of golden syrup and 1tbs of treacle and then gave it a good mix (Tip.Pop your tablespoon/ spatula in a mug of hot water then it will glid through the stickyness) then i poured the mix into the prebaked cases and then popped it in the oven for 15min's.
Once cooked and left to cool down i popped them on a plate and served with a big dollop of fresh cream.
It tasted amazing and would make a ideal after dinner treat.
Thank you for taking a look i do hope you will give it a try,If you do please pop back and let me know what you thought of it.So until next time stay lucky x

My Review of Brainwavz S1 headphones

Good Afternoon Readers,
Hope you all are well? Now we have longer evenings i can spend more time out and about with the kids and dog but i need my music too.I was delighted to get a chance to review a pair of awesome Brainwavz S1 headphones,These aint your run of the mill headphones these use dynamic driver speakers housed in a all metal shell which have been tuned for a powerful bass, crystal clear vocals and accurate sound reproduction.The S1 has a flat cable what means no more knots and tangles and are worn over the ear for a good sound isolation no matter what tunes you listen to
what i really love about these is the quality of sound no matter how high or low you  have the volume they remained clear,They also cut out any outside noise so all you can hear is the music and not what is going on around you.(So take extra care when crossing the road or riding your bike.) I walked passed a building site with loads of hammering and drilling and i did not hear a thing apart from my music of course.

I can not run to save my life so i sent my son Christian off on a run round the park to see how they got on.(As other headphones have a tendency to fall out when running!)

15 Minutes later hes back but raving about these Brainwavz headphones  this is what he said " Wow they did not come out of my ears once nore did they slip. They stayed put  and the quality of sound did not alter once,They were really  comfortable to wear can i have a pair lol"
Another thing about in ear headphones they can hurt if used for a long length of time but with Brainwavz you cant feel them in your ears as they mold to your inner ear shape so comfort guaranteed. What more can you ask for they are quality headphones made to last and designed to give you the best sound possible.

There are foam tips included. They are the best premium foam ear tips that can be found,as it provides perfect seals and awesome bass response.
Also included in the pack is 6 pairs of silicone tips (s,m,l) 1 pair of Bi and 1 pair Tri-flange tips, hard carrying case plus a plane adapter.

Brainwavz S1 can be brought from amazon for just £37  or for my over seas readers $54.50

I would give them a huge 4stars and a big thumbs up,They really are a awesome pair of headphones and worth the money for the quality.

Thank you for taking the time to read my review,These are my honest opinions and i am not being payed to promote Brainwavz,I was provided with a pair of Brainwavz S1 headphones in return for a honest opinion.

While you are here why not follow me to keep up with my ramblings, reviews and competitions,so until next time, stay lucky,
Love Bella. x
