How to make Chicken Crumble feeds 4 for under £3.00!

Good Evening readers.

Hope you are well.I have had such busy weekend and didn't have time to cook a roast dinner and so rustled up the kids favourite Chicken Crumble (nothing like apple crumble i promise!) 

It only takes 10 Min's to make and 15 Min's to cook,so very quick and simple and also filling and low in fat what more can you ask for...


So how do you make it i hear you ask well its very simple just get 
1bag of sliced ready cooked chicken (frozen or fresh) ((you could also use left over chicken from the Sunday dinner))
300ml ready made gravy.(leave to cool right down)
2 packets of stuffing mix made up as instructed and left to cool down too.
1cup of fresh breadcrumbs(blitz up the bread ends)
Added extras can be 1 cup of frozen peas,10button mushrooms or 1cup of sweetcorn (or all of them if you are hungry)

Now mix the chicken to the gravy and add any extras then stir well,

Next up you pour it into a baking dish,
Now add the bread crumbs to the stuffing mix and mix well.

Using your fingers break up the stuffing mix and place over the chicken until all the chicken is covered (don't press down)

now bake it on 180c for 10min's until crispy on top.

Serve with mash or chips and peas and lashings of gravy then enjoy,We had ours in a Yorkshire pudding yummy.

Review of House of Secrets book Two Battle Of The Beasts,

Good Afternoon Readers,

As you all know we love reading and Miss Molly loved the first book and so was super excited to get her paws on book two to see if it was as good as the first one,

If you haven't read book one you really do need to as the adventure starts there as you get to know all about the Walker kids  Brendan,Cordelia and Nell they move in to Kristoff  house that once belonged to a crazed writer and his stories come to life LITERALLY!!

They have no idea of the dark magic that is held within,There they embark on a mission to save there parents,battling against bloodthirsty warriors and deadly pirates will they ever see them again?

Miss Molly was hooked right from page one and didn't want to put it down at bed time, She also said that this one was  so awesome and even better than the first one 

This book is fantastic full of adventure and magic and Miss Molly cant wait for the final book due next year she said she don't know if she can wait that long.

Now Melatonin review

Good afternoon readers,

Hope you all are well,
What funny weather we are having this week its all four seasons in one day,
Roll on summer! 
As most of you know i suffer with insomnia and as i take lots of pills already i didn't really want to keep taking sleeping tablets from the Dr as they can be addictive so i started looking for a natural aid to help me drift off at night,I had tried other natural ways from over the counter remedies through to having a lettuce sarnie (they say it aids sleep honestly check google!) and a mug of coco but nothing worked for long until i came across Melatonin it claims to help regulate your sleep cycle.it comes in 3mg capsules and you take one a night just before bed time with a full glass of water (I found taking one 10 Min's before bed worked best for me)  they can  also be opened and divided over a few nights if required (the capsules)but  a whole one worked best for me.

They not be everyone's cup of tea as a friend took one and found it left her sleepy the next day but when she divided it over a few nights that it disappeared so maybe start with a little bit and work up to a dosage that suits you,
I shall continue to take Melatonin as and when i need to get a good nights sleep.
So why not give it a go to help you drift off naturally.

Fresh pineapple upside down cake.

Good Evening readers,

I had picked up a fresh pineapple(skinned) reduced to just 5p in tescos the other night and wondered what i could make with it after lots of uming and oohing me and the kids decided pineapple upside down cake was the winner so off Miss Molly and Bib set to work.

Here is how they got on.......

First they measured out 50g of brown sugar and 50g of butter then they whisked them both till light and fluffy then they spread it over the base of a lined 9in cake tin.

Bottom layer.

Next they measured out 100g of each s/r flour,butter and caster sugar and 1tsp baking powder and vanilla.
Then whisked the butter and sugar together till light and fluffy next they added the eggs slowly and the vanilla then beat well then sieve in the flour and fold in,

Eggtastic.

Now Bib sliced the pineapple and spread them over the sugar mix in the cake tin (you are meant to put a cherry in each hold but we forgot!!)
then spread the cake mix over the top.

Ready for the oven.

Next they popped it in the oven for 20/25 Min's (use a toothpick to check). 

Cooked and ready.

Once cooked leave to cool then turn out on a plate slice it and serve with custard or cream yummy.
